Rufous Treepies make quite a racket. From the loud and raucous sounds I heard, it looked like they were having a fight. Not to miss the action, I quickly stepped on to the balcony with my Nikon.
But guess what? It was no fight, but hungry babies clamoring for food!
First one of the baby birds gets fed
It is now the other’s turn.
The little ones want more.
More! More!
Mom wisely decides to remove herself.
She sits on a different cable. The babies are not amused.
One jumps over to pester her while the other looks on displeased.
She flies away for some me-time, leaving both the kids stranded.
But they know she’ll be back with more food to fill their little tummies! 🙂

Too beautiful. Even I thought they were fighting in the first pic and we, humans, should learn to think about others deprived of food..the street urchins at traffic signals:)
