Talking to everything around me is something I do a lot. Cats, dogs (my own or those I meet when outside), birds, butterflies, clouds, trees, plants, you name it, I have spoken to them all. Quite recently I even lectured a hibiscus bush. Today Facebook memories threw up one such conversation of mine which I had shared on this very day, that year which I am now sharing here:

Continuing the story, the Chocolate Pansy, disregarding my well intentioned attempts at sending it on its way, stayed on the roof of the sitting room the whole day. Later that night I saw a lizard eyeing it hungrily. And that, my dears was the end of the poor Chocolate Pansy.

I do the same, I admit it. Some lost insect buzzes around inside the house and there’s me standing there, pointing at an open window saying ‘Go on, there’s the exit, stupid!’
Oh dear!
