The maid who is not literate, had been watching me teach Luci (for newbies around, Luci is my 4 month old Labrador pup) to sit, go, fetch, take and such doggy commands. She who herself has a full grown Labrador of her own watched in wonder, then sighed and said resignedly:
“My dog does not know English, Chechi.”

The L & M (for newbies, that is the husband whom I refer to as the Lord & Master) to the stray tom cat that had wandered in and was nonchalantly sharpening its claws on the rolled up carpet:
“Hey! What do you think my home is? A free cat gym?!”

Some humor for Funny Bunny Fridays Week 6

Really had a good laugh, Shail! I like the way the kitten ‘looks’ at the bill! The dialogue suits it!
Glad that you enjoyed, Sandhya 🙂
Lol 🙂
😉
That kitten is adorable!!!!! Our Sher Khan used to do this too 🙂 Apt lines with the picture!!!
Sigh, I wonder who she is entertaining now!
Hahahaha, free cat gym indeed! The pic and comment is priceless
😀
Sigh, my dogs dont know any Haryanavi either
My dog knows one word of Malayalam right now, “Veno?” (Chahiye/Want) Immediately she sits down expectantly 😉
Had a good laugh! 😀 The caption is so very apt for the pose!! LOL 😀
Thanks Shilpa 😀
he he he he 🙂 loved the caption .. awesome
that reminds me i need to go back home and teach mine some PUNJABI..
ITHE AA
BAITH JA
KHADHA HO JA
he he he he
Yeah yeah, teach Punjabi too. When I ask Luci ‘Paranja kekkoolle?’ (You won’t listen/obey) she knows something is wrong 😛
love this one,
did you know? dogs understand many languages, it depends on which country they are in,
in France, they listen to French and do what their owner tells them to do,
Of course they do. They learn according to what/how we speak to them. Luci also understands a few Malayalam words. 🙂 But my maid actually thinks, Luci obeys because she knows English! 😉
😀 😛 😀
Welcome to Shail’s Nest 🙂
Lovely blog and cute stuff! I am at ~
Thank you. Will hop right over to check. Thank you 🙂
LOL!!! 😀
And that pic is soooooooooooooooooo cute 🙂
I also have one of when she is halfway through her journey. Long climb to reach where she is in the pic 😛 😉
Thengu kayattal vidagdha aanalle
😉
Love these! My dog doesn’t understand english either!
Lol, he doesn’t? 😉 Thanks
incredible humor, love it.
😉
Welcome to Shail’s Nest and thank you 🙂
😆 Read this before I went to school yesterday, and took the laughter with me!
Glad your day started with a laugh 😀
hahahaha! LOL on both of them 🙂
🙂 😀
Hey, brilliant caption:)
BTW, was this pepper?:) Remember seeing this pic
Thank you. This is Nibbles. Yeah I had posted the pic of her clambering up the L & M’s leg 🙂
Puppies are cute creatures, good to know she understands your language and whatever you say, very apt caption 🙂
Welcome to Shail’s Nest and thank you. Yeah, Luci very well understands, especially the tone. I can ask her ‘Aaru vannu?’ (Who’s there?) in three different tones and it is amazing and funny the way she responds differently to each. For one she barks as if challenging, for the other she backs off scared and if it is the cheerful query she knows her ‘Dad’ is home 😀
ROTFL! Free cat gym? The L&M does have a great sense of humour.
Yeah he has 😉
Sad state of affairs this is, the poor dogs get no education at all.. 😛
Loved the post 😀
Indeed, no English medium education 😛 Thanks. 🙂
Lollll! Had a good hearty laugh! And what a caption 😀
😀
Oh God!! that one looks like my cat. 😀 😀 I have a similar black and white tomcat.
What’s his name? This is Nibbles and she went missing 😦
Mine, by some divine stroke of fortune (or mis-fortune), got named Nightie. 😀
We had named him in jest, when he strayed in to our home and lives one night, thinking that generally cats don’t stay. Once they are done with you, they wander off. Now we have an awesome family member, albeit with a funny name 😀
When he goes for his evening walk and we go looking for him, the neighbors ask us “Tumhari nightie kho gayi kya” (yeah, thats there idea of fun)
