Aww…Very nice choice. You never disappoint me:-)
@Laxmi,
Thank you! *grins* Name chosen by me from the suggestions put forward by the L & M. Kitteh is from the kids π
Looks to be a handful! Frisky little ball of fur
@Phoenixritu,
Quite a handful indeed! π
Now I know why I like it so much π
@Laxmi,
π π
awwwwwwwwwwwwww
@Monika,
π
Kute Kitten! π
@manju,
Isn’t she??
π Love the name n the kitteh!!!
@Usha,
She is like a pepper corn π
It’s the eyes isn’t it? Kittens have these large “Oh I’m so cute” eyes that one just feels like taking them in. I wonder if that’s an evolutionary evolved trait π
@Bhagwad Jal Park,
Welcome to Shail’s Nest π My son was saying something similar about dogs, how their cuteness could be an ‘evolutionary evolved’ trait?? Anyway, between the two of them, cats and dogs have managed to enslave humans with their ‘cuteness’! π
What with the disdainful pout
paws drawn out ready for a bout
and without any reasonable doubt
all the makings of the BIG CAT ready to come out.
@Govind,
She does look like a miniature version of the Big Cat! π
Naah…definitely a dog person, me π
But love the name…and “kitteh” π
Naah…definitely a dog person, me π
But love the name…and “kitteh” π
The first thing i did when i saw the title “Kitteh” was to look at the keyboard, to see if “h” and “n” are neighbour keys π and they are!!
@Scorpria,
Lol the kitteh is on purpose, the cyber name for kitten, or so say my sons π
I am both cat and dog person. But of course dogs rule. They ‘listen’ to you and obey you. I get frustrated with a cat when ‘come here’ is blatantly ignored. Imagine, a dog would never ever do that. Come here, you tell them and they come running. Cats have a mind of their own. Sigh.
Your kitteh is soooooo cute!
@RJ Clarken,
Isn’t she?? Thanks π
Cute kitten.
Reminds me of Savitri.
My wife still bristles with rage when I recount this old story.
I was living alone at Kollam due to a temporary non family posting at a project site (Chavara) way back in 1981.
I had written to my wife that I wasn’t feeling lonely at all as Savitri would would be visiting me often.
I mischievousy wrote to her that Savitri would never resist petting by me and the price I had to pay for this privilege was just some milk.
I was in no hurry to tell her that Savitri was the neighbour’s cat which often sneaked into my room and refused to move out from under my bed.
I had to leave the window open in the morning before locking the door as I left for work so that she could leave when she fancied.
“Phantom” was another neighbour’s cat that befriended me in California when I was on a visit to my daughter’s place a year ago.
I had blogged about him as a guest blogger at my friend’s blog site. This was written in Hindi and any interested person can read about my experience with this cat at the following link
http://halchal.gyandutt.com/2010/10/blog-post_13.html
Even if you can’t read Hindi, you are welcome to see the pictures of this black Californian beauty at this blog.
Regards
GV
@G Vishwanath,
Savitri! What a lovely name. And Phantom too, one of my favorite characters π Your story about Savitri brought a smile π I will look up the blog you mention, in fact I sneaked a look at the pictures of the gorgeous cat. I do know Hindi. But I am too lazy to read in Hindi or for that matter Malayalam.
We once had a cat named Nandini. π
Pepper the kitteh(!) is like our Golie! Nice expressive eyes, Shail…you will never get bored, when this one is with you!
@Sandhya,
