WOW, Brilliant click…how did u know the exact time to click ???? I love this one. π
@UmaS,
Thank you π Btw, it was a lucky shot π Right time at the right place!
Fantastic capture – can almost feel the wings vibrate !
@Ruchira,
Thank you π Did you click the pic for a larger preview?? π
Concept: great
Execution: average
Photo quality: average
The flower is easy to get.
The bee is not.
May be if you had got closer you could have captured the bee better.
Or maybe, if you had zoomed in, the result would have been better.
But then bees don’t wait for humans in a hurry to click.
Risky shot. What if the bee find’s your nose more attractive than the flower?
Nice and brave try.
Regards
GV
@G Vishwanath,
Looks like you are a photography enthusiast. π If so you left out one important question, on the camera I used. This was clicked using no fancy camera, but an ordinary Sony Cybershot. Zoom?? You must be joking!
I am glad I did not venture any closer. OMG imagine what would have happened to my nose (about which I have blogged, btw) if I had gotten any closer π though its no laughing matter π
Thank you π
how delicate the pink looks!! Blog hopped to yours! will keep coming for more!
@Ram pyaari,
Welcome to Shail’s Nest and thank you. Please do keep visiting. I took a look at your blog and I can’t believe someone actually ‘liked’ Dabang. I have yet to get over the after effects of watching it! *shudders* π π
Adore the caption for the pic! Though the focus seems to have been more on the plant than the bee…for the plant takes up the main, centre stage π π
Ok…enough of my criticism, but i think the pic as a whole is super!
@Scorpria,
Lol, considering that had been the intention, I seem to have done the right thing π The bee was just an intruder, truly ‘caught’ in action! π Hehe… Thanks π
I am “BEEing” impressed .
@kirti,
Lol, that’s a good one! π
Oh I love ‘thottavaadi ‘ . It seems you have a forest of them . Great shot Shail !!
@Krishnaleela,
OMG!!!!!!!!!!! Only when I saw this comment of yours I remembered. I was in your neighborhood and had intended to call you!! π¦ Oh well… next time then.
There had been a sea of these plants in the area next to where my parents stay. Thanks π
Copied it for personal use Shail. Hope you wouldn’t mind – and no, I’ll not use it publicly! Just sayin! LOL I just happen to love bees! π
@Laxmi,
Hmmm… a bee lover?? I guess I am meeting one for the first time. I am honored that you chose my pic π π
@Shail, Yeah – Bee lover. LOL (and Lady bug lover as well) We find them in heaps here. I love the color contrast, the iridescent wings and what they symbolize. I think Bees are one of God’s greatest creations. I look at honey and wonder how creatures so tiny can build, organize and accomplish so much! Yeah, I didn’t really comment about the quality or execution since I knew it wasn’t a fancy SLR with a fancier lens and shutter speed you are using, (otherwise I am OCD abt photos like the other gentleman here)! LOL But then I’ve come to like everything you do:-) Not that I just like it anyway! It’s because there is a childlike enthusiasm that you bring to things!
BTW, totally on the same page with you abt Dabaang – I though I could have done something better with my time, even when I was latched to a seat on an international flight! LOL
@Laxmi,
I think lady bugs are cuuute π Of course I agree, bees are awesome!
Sigh, tell me about the child-like enthusiasm. That’s the only wealth I possess and the only wealth I want to posses till I die. The sigh is for the n number of times all sorts of people have tried to take it away from me and the fight I have had to put up with them and life to maintain status quo.
OMG, I shudder at the mere thought of Dabaang. *shudders*
Lovely shot!
The pink flowers remind me of candy floss! π
@Priya Iyer,
Yeah true! π
Wow! That’s a good one!
@Indian Homemaker,
Thanks π
Phenomenal article but a few more pictures could make it greater
@Stacy Hudman,
LMAO at this comment. I just couldn’t help approve this spam that Akismet had very efficiently caught. She(could be he) likes the article so much, how could I disappoint her/him?? π π π And Blistering Barnacles!! The lady (or gentleman) wants pictures!!!! Now WHERE will I go for pictures that their eyes can see??!! π
That’s an awesome shot Shail.
My my….someone’s going pretty click-happy these days, I see π
@momofrs,
Thank you π
