When May behaves like June, can June be expected to behave like May? Not likely I bet, This respite of a few sunny days is courtesy of the southwest monsoon which had been delayed by a couple of days. Today dawned bright and clear. When I stepped out to put the clothes to dry on the line I noticed that the sky was a pristine blue. Just the way I had longed to see it the past month. So then I had to go back in for the camera and take a few pictures of the lovely trees around me.

The leaves of the Golden Shower tree (Cassia fistula) in my neighbor’s yard looked green and pretty.
There were mangoes in the top branch of the mango tree, also in my neighbor’s yard.
The top branches of the Moringa tree (Moringa oleifera) happily swayed in the wind.
The Mosanda growing tall alongside the mango tree in my backyard makes a pretty picture.
The leaves of the hibiscus standing nearby looked shiny in the sun.
The African Tulip tree (Spathodea campanulata) growing in the empty lot behind my house has grown quite tall in the past months.

I picked up the camera today after almost two months. Now that has been one looooooong holiday!
