….with a crash.
This was how matters, rather the terracotta horse, stood post-crash
One down, one more to go.
Uh-ho. what have I done?
Let me try some damage control.
Where does this piece go?
Gulp, one leg is missing.
Shall I pull a leg off the other one?
Thank God Dad is here! I’ll lend a helping paw, Dad.
I will carry the little pieces.
But, this one sure looks yummy. May be I better keep it for myself.
Wow Dad sure is miffed. He told me to stay out of his way.
I’ll go play with Brownie.
And that is how our New Year began IHM 🙂

Awwww! Awww! and more Awww! I dont know what is cuter..the pics or your write up…
Like I have mentioned earlier on IHM’s blog, I am pretty scared of dogs..but this pics are so adorable.. :):)
Thank you 😀 Oh she is so damn cute, you will love her 😀
ROFL .. this cute little thing sure keeps you occupied !
err .. this is Ruchira BTW I don’t know where ruch0106 came from ??!!
I followed the link and verified who it was 😛
Of course she does! And how. She doesn’t like laptops, books even the cell phone :O
Its your fault actually. Next time, get them made in wood. You cannot blame kids or dogs for it, they are too sweet 🙂
Destination Infinity
We were sort of expecting this Many times in the past days the horses have swayed and danced on their toes only to right themselves. L & M and I have been meaning to move them to his study (where she is not allowed). But alas look what procrastination has done! 😛 Now the lone one rests in the study!
But mostly our house is almost wholly puppy-proofed 🙂
Ooooops awwwww bless
Trying best to undo ot all..
Well new year starts with a bang yayyyyyy
Beautiful pictures…
She lugged away a big piece and climbed on the sofa. It fell down and broke into bits. She was taken aback at the crash sound a second time. It was funny 😛
:D.. Awww… Hugs to darling Luci, the horses, the words here, the blog post 🙂
You know the L & M was watering the plants and she was barking at him to be let out. Since she wouldn’t let him water plants (she thinks the garden hose belongs to her) he did not. She was runing from one end to the other all agitated at not being able to join him and crash….! I came running from the kitchen to find what had happened and straight away ran for my camera 😉
At least yours is still a kid. Mine is 11 years old and I am still picking up pieces regularly!! Sigh!! Happy New Year Shail!
That’s what is so wonderful about dogs. They are always the same age, well almost. Your own human kids shoot up and become all grown-upsy that you can no longer run round and round the sofa chasing them (or they you) 😉
Thank you and a Happy New Year to you too 🙂
You actually stood around clicking pics while the terracotta crashed by Luci?? 😯 I would have definitely scolded my dog! 😛
Or wait, did you mean it just fell anyway and Luci came to investigate?
She is growing big too fast isn’t she 🙂 Just wanna hug her and not let her go …
She felled it 🙂 I came running hearing the crash and ran back to get the camera 😉 (which luckily I keep quite handy, it was on the dining table) and well… you know the rest, click click 😉 😛
One day I came out of the bedroom hearing sounds and found two mongooses near the dining table. My first thought, would they stay put if I went to get the camera?’ But they of course slunk away when they saw me 😦
Aww, such cuteness!
She is such a cute thing! 😀
Hahaha…the other horse will not stay in one piece longer! I can imagine you running for the camera without removing the other horse from Luci’s eyesight!
She is too cure! You must have lost some weight after she came home!
Happy Luci days in the New Year and Luci posts for us, Shail!
The L & M immediately moved the lone one to his study (she is not allowed there) for the time being 🙂 Whoa! If I have lost weight, I will go get myself another pup too! 😉 🙂
Thanks Sandhya. Just today morning she made off with a banana left on the kitchen platform. She can easily reach things there now! 😛
Finally I get to read this post!!! Luci is such a doll 🙂 She finds ways to keep you (and us) entertained!! 🙂 loved the picture story Shail!!
Finally you are here 😀 Thank you. Yes, she is a constant source of entertainment to all 😀
Oh my God… I feel terrible when something breaks like this. These Bankuda horses are my favorites and many times have broken..I still have a head of this horse in one of my plant pots. Now I have two smaller ones who have less chances of being broken.
Lucy is sure a cute company 🙂
Yeah we were sad to see the pair reduced to one, especially now that it seems remote we’ll be going over that side. The L & M was posted to Bishnupur and we have gifted a lot of friends and families these Bankura horses 🙂 We still have wooden, bamboo and metal ones. But the terracotta ones are really the best.
And sorry for the late response. I missed this comment 😦
Aaaawww …she’s so cute! The kind of happiness you find from these darlings can not be found any where else ….
What a lovely post … 🙂
Do visit my world too to meet one such darling.
Welcome to Shail’s Nest Ruprekha 🙂 Oh yes Luci is one bundle of joy. Thank you.
I’d love to visit and take a look at your darling. Do please leave a link. 🙂
