I never tire of enjoyment in the rain, and this post adds to that joy. It’s a picture beautiful, and the verse is the sparkle on the twinkling drops! Lovely!
@Usha,
Thank you so much π
Lovely! π
The rain drops, the poem – beautiful ! Makes me miss home and the rains! π
@Pixie,
It rained here y’day just when we thought the rains were over for the time being. It was lovely π
This is a splendid picture depicting raindrops.And nice verse alongside.Is there a stick insect hidden there somewhere ?
@R.Ramakrishnan,
Welcome to Shail’s Nest and thank you. No stick insect that I have noticed. Does it look like there is one?
You are right Shail, they are precious, when you watch the rain and then watch the plats after the rain is over, you feel as if they are all alive and talking to each other. The leaves allowing the rain to fall on them and let the drops play and slide on them.Nice!
@Vinod Narayan,
Welcome to Shail’s Nest and thank you. How true. Plants talk before rain too π I wrote about it here: https://shailsnest.com/wp/poetry/ecstasy/
Raindrops like diamonds…says it all, doesn’t it? Gorgeous shot Shail:)
@Kala,
Yeah and I am enamored of these diamonds π Thanks Kala.
For what purpose is this drop?
As they go down with a plop
would they help a drying plant prop
or would they destroy a standing crop?
Shail, a beautiful snap. The verse could have been better. I think it came out a little hurried like the raindrops. π
@Govind,
Thank you, yes I feel it could have been too. π
