After visiting the Nikola Tesla Museum on our first day we cut across the Tasmajdan Park on our way to lunch.

The Tasmajdan is a public park in the urban neighbourhood of Belgrade and had many interesting sights to offer.

Beautiful trees
Statue of former Azerbaijani President Heyder Aliyev
A fountain
Milorad Pavich’s monument
A horse and his rider
A dog that wandered onto our path looking for his lost ‘hooman’
Crows searching for I don’t know what…
A monument for Serbian war victims
There in front of us was St Mark’s Orthodox Church as viewed from the park.
And as a bonus, my people, walking ahead of me.
