words take flight
refuse to play,
their rights, they vehemently cite

not today, they firmly say
we worked for a week
plus another day

now we need rest
and time to recoup (you do too)
so the coming tomorrows we can together, best

secretly though, I wonder
if it is but a clever ploy
to acquire (the blog), and sneakily, take over
