It is that time of the year again. Summer is knocking on our doors wanting to be let in. The trees stand listless, their leaves coated in dust. The potted plants and the bushes in the garden need extra water and care or else they wilt and droop. The sun shines down relentlessly on everything. The clouds dare not contend with the fiery sun in his prime and so are keeping their distance. Their time would come, but it is not now, not today.
It is also the time of the year when I embark on a rambling spree. Well… I am not sure what I do can be described as rambling in the strictest sense, more like stream of consciousness writing. But whatever you call it, this is that time of the year when I get down to it.
It looked like I wouldn’t be able to make it today. I have been feeling unwell the whole day and almost canceled on the first day’s post of Ramblings in February. But then this is me, and I hate to renege on any commitment. So here I am, heavy head, sore throat, sneezes and all. May be I will feel better tomorrow, and may be there will be a longer post. I really hope so. But for today, this is all I have on offer.
