My journey through photography
What did the cat catch?
It was a chameleon.
I am sorry about the chameleon – our local population of them has fallen prey to cats so much that I haven’t seen one in our garden for years – but have enjoyed your sequence of photographs of the hunter in action.
Cats are such experts in catching chameleons, aren’t they? I used to have a cat who brought them inside half alive so her kittens could have a practice session!
I love how cats go into prey mode, go extremely still then wiggle their butts before pouncing!
Kittens are the cutest though!
