On top of the hill Petite Montague, at a height of 100 metres is the Citadel Fort (also known as Adelaide Fort). It resembles a Moorish fort, I read somewhere. The view it offers of the entire city of Port Louis including the harbor is indeed magnificent.
It was a lovely day as we drove up the hill, but the clouds rolled in soon enough as happens often enough in Mairitius I have learnt in the few days I have been here. Soon it started drizzling, but not before I could take a few pictures.

Wowowowow beautiful place…
The second pic reminds me so much of the Banasura Sagar Dam in Wayanad…and the view of the reservoir, bordered by the peaks!
