This shall be our land
I have everything planned
nothing could be as easy
These creatures fight
over caste, color, creed
borders, and eating beef
Rumors carefully planted
will further separate
the already disparate
We shall divide
watch them collide
like flies fall all over and die
We may be minuscule
but we shall one day, rule
believe me, nothing could be as easy…
[I was trying to click a gram blue butterfly when a movement to the left caught my eye. Imagine my surprise when through the telephoto lens I saw these (I am sorry, i don’t know what they are called) insects. To me they looked like aliens come to life from some book/movie, and their purposeful walk like those of potential conquerors of a shamefully divided species.]

What fascinating wee beasts!!! I think they’re Martians!! Or some other type of highly intelligent and sophisticated aliens! 🙂
You think so too, right? I knew they were aliens! 😀
Love the poem! You have quite a way with words. And with lenses 🙂
Thank you, Kalpanaa 😀
A close shot and that poem is so real, so true. Feels sad but exactly what’s happening.
Isn’t it? Alien invasion couldn’t be easier than right now. Sad, it is.
The blue butterfly
That caught her eye
Did not get shot
But what we got
Is a poem about how we’ll all die!
Haha. Yeah, by not sticking together we inevitably pave the way.
