There is a certain smell associated to bookstores, especially the school text books etc. When I saw this pic, that familiar smell came back rushing.:)

I could live in there and be at peace πŸ˜€
I think old book stores/houses have more charm and warmth compared to the landmark/crossword stores of today.
But then, I’m biased and I know a lot of readers love the landmark/crossword stores πŸ™‚

Yes, that’s exactly what it reminds you of. I took this picture when I went to a book-store with her. She wanted to get some books for school. πŸ™‚

OMG! Reminded me of a certain ‘Vijaya Stores’ in Mylapore area of Chennai, where we used to buy all our school books. Last month, on my visit to Chennai, I actually went back to the same store and got a couple of LKG books for the brat πŸ™‚

About this blog

Unknown's avatar
When my fingers tap dance on the computer keyboard the results are either some tongue in cheek humor, a verse, a short story, a rant or sometimes mere rambling prose that goes nowhere in particular.... You'll find them all. So go ahead, take your pick and be bored to death!!

I believe

"Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self.” ~ Cyril Connolly

The why

β€œI write entirely to find out what I'm thinking, what I'm looking at, what I see and what it means. What I want and what I fear.” ~ Joan Didion
