This is fatso of ‘The fatso and I‘ fame, rather notoriety, who looks a little less of the fatso in this picture than he had been a month back on account of moi being away from home for exactly the same period of time. But not to worry, he is quickly making up for lost time. The other day the strong breeze blowing had pushed open the window to the room next to the kitchen. He stealthily and silently crept in as is his wont, moving right past the sleeping ‘I’ of ‘The fatso and I‘ and was busy gobbling up her lunch when I caught him in the act. He stared at me balefully and speculatively on being disturbed. My cries of ‘Poocha!!! Poocha!!!!‘ (Cat) fell on deaf ears. Hmmm…. She probably IS a little deaf.
By the time the ‘I’ of ‘The fatso and I‘ had woken herself from her slumber, enough anyway to do her steam-engine-gone-berserk act, the fatso was long gone. Oh well, can’t blame the poor thing. In human years she is eighty if a day! It now falls on moi at a sprightly golden fifty to take care of her plus her food. All she does these days is sleep sleep and sleep some more.
😆 Awww she looks so innocent when she is asleep 🙂 She loves her sleep too.. she is 9, so that makes her 9X7 = 63?
Me: She is 12 years old IHM! 🙂 That makes her 80+
hehe hilarious experience. You should publish this as a series and watch the ‘fatso and I’ become cult figures in literature world 😀
Me: That’s a suggestion Aditya which I might consider. Thank you for the idea. 🙂
how shweet…and so at peace while sleeping and look at those killer looks of the poocha’ 😆
Me: It sure has killer-looks Deeps! And always gets the better of the dog.
Poocha is a real fatso! Beautiful eyes! My Pomoranian was with me for 11 years. He was the darling of our family.
Just now I wrote a post about my cats and dog! I and my family enjoy being with them!
Me: I read your post and have left a comment too. My spitz is 12 years old, Sandhya. Now I am waiting to read about your Pom.
Cute looking ones….
Me: 🙂
How can you blame a poor cat
of getting nothing but fat
living in a house with no rat
and a dog that is always on the mat.
BTW the poocha looks like a cougar. Are you sure he is a cat? 🙂
Me: ROFL @are you sure its a cat? Hmm… now that you ask I have my doubts too Govind. Lol, how did you guess there are no rats here?? Oh I know, if there were I would have run away! 😛
Just coming from Sandhya’s and read your comment too.
Look at those naughty cutie pies. 🙂
Me: :O The cat looks cute to you?? Yeah generally they look cute to me too. but this one beats any Bollywood villain hollow!
And so continues the age old rivalry between the houses of the Cat and the Dog. Waiting for the day when Doggie gets the upper hand 🙂
Me: Hmmm… one day she had one cornered on the terrce and barked and barked till I went to investigate what the matter was. The minute she saw me she pounced on the cat (till then she was standing about a couple of feet away!) and got scratched in return!! :))))
Poor doggie! They never win against cats, they are such simple babies.
Me: Right on Ritu. Dogs are simple babies! 🙂
