Three months gone already. We are now in the second quarter of the year. Time does have wings perhaps, or it could be that my days have been full, overfull to be exact.
I have not attended to the comments on my previous blogathon in February, or read the blogs of my friends in the month past, and yet here I am attempting to do another of them blogathons. The blog world hums with activity like a beehive in April. At least it used to, I am not sure of the present since I have not been around long enough to find out whether the April marathon blogging still happens.
Whether it does or not, I have decided Shail’s Nest is going to hum with activity this month. I had a couple of ideas up my sleeve for a theme in April. How about places I have been to or would like to go to? I am not sure if I can find one for each letter of the alphabet, but I could certainly try. Another option was to write a story for every letter. But doing either without preparation, that is identifying twenty-six options for each, could end up stressing me out and quit midway.
Or will it?
I am made of sterner stuff than that, right? Or so I’d like to believe. And yet… I remain undecided. That’s why the first post read ‘And Then April Arrived’ and not ‘Amber Fort’ which I visited recently. That would have made a good start for the month. But what of B? Is there some place I can babble on about beginning with the letter B? Then what about C, D, E and so on? More importantly, and here the mind boggles, what about X, Y, Zee?
Should I just stick to what I do best and write loads about whatever comes to mind, sort of ramble with no particular aim? How would it be if I take a random word of each alphabet and find out what exactly I can say about it? That sounds good ti me, queen of nonsense that I am. Hmm.. It could be that sometimes I’d have nothing much to write and at other times it could be lots and LOTS. Kind of going on forever like I am just now.
Anyways
Let me think things over and decide on a path of action. For the time being let it be officially known that come hail or highwater, I am here for the month. So take cover people, keep your umbrellas handy, for words are going to rain on you. 😉

Whatever you choose, it’ll be lovely to have your daily output again Shail! Places visited or on the wishlist does sound good. X,Y and Z will be easier than you think. The Chinese will help you out with X in particular… However, unless you’re going to use non-English scripts, you only have 26 days of material to cover 30. So the fact you haven’t started yet isn’t the end of the world…:)
I am going with random things, but I am going to do places visited or on the wish list sometime soon 🙂
