The sea and the shore
wherever they wander
never apart
forever in touch with the other.
* * *
The sea pulls away
only to return in a rush
having missed the shore
in those brief seconds
* * *
Come away with me, the sea said
This dress of blue is for you…
Just hold my hand, the earth replied
Brown dotted with green I find pretty

This has almost a haiku poignancy
How the sea, for the shore, has a fancy
The cloud and the sky
Are witness and spy
To the forever-frolicking fantasy!
Thank you, Gulshan 🙂
Beautiful words and that picture is beautiful.
The sea and the shore to me are forever together yet always apart.
That’s how they are isn’t it? Thanks for the comment 🙂
