This way to McWay Falls. Please enter.
A breathtaking view, isn’t it? That’s McWay Falls, in Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park. It’s an 80 foot waterfall and is one among the few that fall directly into the sea.
“Originally the waterfall cascaded directly into the ocean but after a 1983 fire and 1985 landslides, the topography of McWay Cove was altered, forming an inaccessible beach. The waterfall now meets the ocean when the tide is in.” (Wiki).
Another view of the waterfall and the cove.
As for the flora and fauna, they will have to wait for another day. Happy weekend to you all!
