Undermining the Patriarchy Every Chance I Get. And I Get a Lot of Chances (Copyright Preserved)
I have no idea how that happened.
I see a lot of wodehouse π
I love the Palace of illusions and the Argumentative Indian ..
I have so many books now I am fast running out of space to keep them !
I gave away a lot of books in the past. Now once again I am keeping them π
Another wodehouse lover π .. Awesome
But where is Luci ? π¦
Whaaaaat?!!!! You are a Wodehouse fan too?! :O
I think almost every literate person is a Wodehouse fan π
Then it seems I knew/know only illiterate people in my real life Bhagwad! Really, I hardly knew 2 or 3 people who enjoyed reading Wodehouse! Isn’t the net amazing? Here, on this very page, I have 7 people saying they like Wodehouse π
Add me to that number! π
I grew up loving Jeeves and Wooster, but now I rank Lord Emsworth above them all. π
Welcome to Shail’s Nest Thumbelina π And I am glad to meet another fan. I love Lord Emsworth too. He is so damn cute. But my all time fav is Psmith followed by Gally. π
I don’t remember them, must have missed quite a few books. Time for a trip to amazon.com π
Gosh ! That’s all high brow stuff.
Till I saw the Wodehouse volumes I was overcome with a massive inferiority complex!
Now I read more blogs than books!
Regards
GV
Another Wodehouse reader? Very happy to note that. π
Yes. I loved Jeeves, Sir Galahad, and also that lovable pampered pig “Empress of Blandings”
GV
Gally is one of my favorites. And I love Blandings castle saga. But of course Psmith is my all time favorite π
π Wodehouse. Marquez. Among others π
Yeah and The Horse Whisperer π
π good collection
Thanks Biks π
How is the Palace of Illlusions? Thinking of starting with it soon. Just got done with Shadow Princess π
You MUST read it Aathira. Hmm… I don’t think I have read Shadow Princess.
What????
Where is my book. Agreed its not high brow but where is it?
Its there on the next shelf Ritu! π
You have such a lovely collection! And I miss reading Wodehouse! Wonder why I haven’t read any recently!
How is Le Carre? I have never tried any of his books so far – and I have no idea why!
You read Wodehouse too!!! π Le Carre is good. I have read only a couple of books though.
Wodehouse and Gabriel Garcia Marquez I like.
And you too, Wodehouse! Yes Marquez too, π
Wodehouse!!! yayyyyyyy! π
David, et tu? Yaaay indeed π
Good mixture, from history of western philosophy to the horse whisperer..:)
I am a Wodehouse fan too, but I prefer listening to audiobooks read by Englishmen than reading. Somehow I feel the world of Wodehouse becomes much more alive through audio. But I can’t tolerate those Librivox online audio, the American accent is all wrong for a Wodehouse!
I have never tried audio. Now I must do that! π
Wodehouse! Yay…
Neat collection
Welcome to another Wodehouse fan, to Shail’s Nest π
Neat collection. Have not read anyone of them ( even wodehouse ) – bookmarking this page and flipkart will be pleased. π
Lol, I am sure flipkart will be. You will enjoy Wodehouse! π
