@Ruchira
Heyyyy! Lovely to see you. π Looks like you are back. π
Nice one
@Prats,
Thanks π
Beautiful Click. It’s looking very pleasant.
@shilpasharmaonline,
Welcome to Shail’s Nest and thank you π
I wish I was where ever this photo was taken. I haven’t seen rain in ages, everything is burnt up here. Happy Wordless Wednesday!
@Savvy,
Welcome to Shail’s Nest π I have been seeing only rain for the past 10 days, not that I am complaining π Thanks for stopping.
Chennai is starving for rains…
I always love rains! Even now, I go out and watch when it rains!
The raindrops look beautiful, Shail!
@Sandhya,
Ask Mumbai for some Rain π There was plenty while I was there π
Thanks Sandhya, I love rains too π
You were in Mumbai?When?
@rajni,
You missed my previous post? π I was in Mumbai during the last week of July π
Wow.. a beautiful place before 2007 I had some beautiful memories of this place , I did visit it twice or thrice after 2007 but those visits now bring pain to heart .. I wish i can get rid of those memories soonest ..
I would love to go here once again and have the boat ride and all ..
and No we dont want rain here you can take it from here to π
Bikram’s
@bikram,
I wanted to see it minus the rain too, but just did not get the opportunity π
It looks like a sea. And I like the raindrops π
@Leckeres fΓΌr Mensch und Katze – Goodies for a pleasant life,
Welcome to Shail’s Nest. The sea is close enough π
Love this shot Shail, the gloominess of the rainy day, the close up of the drops of water….beautiful:)
@Kala,
Thank you π I was not even sure how the picture would turn out. It was raining so hard. But I too love those rain drops in a row π
Mumbai, it seems hasn’t really soured your taste inspite of the gross adventure. A beautiful picture.
@Anita Menon,
Hmm… takes much more to sour my taste π After all except for one, they are all replaceable things I lost π
Its amazing how these heritage structures look dignified and strong even after decades!!
BTW, the GoI comples 100 years this December.
Hope Mumbai-walas give it the honour it deserves π
@momofrs,
Yes, I love this one π Hmm… 100 years? I did not know that. So I saw it in its 100th year? π
I love this shot…especially with the rod and raindrops hanging off it!
@Ashwathy,
Thanks. π I am glad the shot came out well π
@Shail, Hey thanks for pointing out the mistaken word on my blog π I’ve replied to it and edited the post also!
@Ashwathy,
Just read it π
Great shot, very atmospheric indeed!
Thanks for stopping by in Normandy where all the blue skies have been washed away by the rain today.
Maggie
@Maggie,
Welcome to Shail’s Nest π and thank you for the comment.
i love the mumbai rains and this shot shoots it perfectly!:)
@Devika,
Thank you and welcome to Shail’s Nest π
@Shail, thnx alot!:)
So these days you pack your bag fully loaded with camera and the rains follows you to give you pose in different places. Make a trip to Dubai, let it drizzle at least. It is HOTTT here
@Maddy,
This time the rain accompanied me though the Pink Panther wasn’t with me π π π
Is this the ‘terrorist’s point of view,
as she did recee to the venue?
How we all wished we knew
if there is more attacks in the brew.
Terrorist or no,it still is a beautiful shot, especially the rain drops on the barriers. Kudos to the shutterbug lady. π
@Nonamepleaseiamscared,
What?? You call me a terrorist yet again! :O :O And I, the meekest creature ever born! Grrr…. Oh yes, I wish to go back and shoot some more pics. So more attacks in the brew π
Thanks π
Pssst… you change your name but forgot to change your photo π (in case you hadn’t noticed that) π
Yeah I know I should have signed in with a different email id. By the time I realised it the damage was already done. π
Makes me want a hot cup of chai and a plate of pakodas π
Yeah, the picture does have that effect! π
WoW!!! Though I dont miss Mumbai , i miss the rainy season there.
A good shot indeed .
Rainy season is the best! π
Sigh ! My beautiful Mumbai. π Lovely, rainy capture, Shail.
