Flash fiction is an umbrella term used to describe any fictional work of extreme brevity, including the Six-Word Story, 140-character stories, also known as twitterature, the dribble (50 words), the drabble (100 words), and sudden fiction (750 words)

“Did you get it?”
“No. I couldn’t find it.”
“Did you look…”
“Of course, I looked everywhere!”
“You couldn’t have!”
“I did too, in all the usual places.”
“Hmm… She’s getting smarter, finding newer places to hide.”
“Yeah, I know.”
“What?!! Why are you grinning like a monkey?”
“Look what I did manage to get for us. Tada!”
“Whoa! That’s for the party tonight!”
“Do you want it or not?”
“Yes!!!!!!!!!”
“Then shut up and eat.”
“Mmm… So tasty!”
“Stop licking the whole plate! One half is mine.”
“What’s that? I heard a scream!”
“It’s mom!”
“She must have opened the fridge and found….”
“Run, run, run!!!!”
