What it’s all about: Five Sentence Fiction is about packing a powerful punch in a tiny fist, that is, in exactly five sentences.
I dragged out the memory from the dingy corners of my mind where I had banished it to years ago. The ‘incident’ as my mother and aunts referred to it in hushed tones when they thought no one was around, had happened one cold February morning while I was on my way to school. His unpleasant breath and the unbearable pain of the day came back in a rush, tormenting me afresh. And along with it, his gloating face. It was now time to pull off the mask of righteousness he wore, time to say, ‘Me too!’

Welcome to my One-Word Challenge. I enjoyed your five-sentence story and I hope it was fiction.
Thank you. I was sorely missing the WordPress daily prompt when I came across FOWC on Cee’s page. 🙂
Yes, it’s fiction, but you can say it is based on the many stories one hears from all around.
Horrible, in the very best sense of the word. Well written 🙂
Thanks, Ken.
