Several months ago we had a four evening retreat at Church led by a Catholic priest from the state of Wisconsin. He said that we should always live our lives so that we are ready to go (from our earthly life) when the Heavenly Father or Jesus calls us. He put a spin on the “first day of the rest of your life” thought by saying that for many people tomorrow may well be the last day of their earthly lives. I have never thought of it that way. But obviously such a reality confronts many people everyday, no?

As usual, I enjoyed your reading here. It is an interesting format you have “to toy with” the readers before defining what you really mean–makes it interactive and interesting. Thanks for sharing.
