I love your attitude, Shail! I am half an inch less than 5 foot! Don’t look my age, too! So most of the youngsters, sons and husband included…take me for granted!

I have learned SOME things from you, now! Let me try to implement them!

Me: Hey, you learnt something from me?? That’s good to know. Though I am the shortest in my own Home Sweet Home, that is one place I am not taken for granted! BTW let us know through a blog how the ‘implementation’ worked!

And this is what equality means. I totally admire your attitude.

Shaila we have had our share of disagreements, and I hope you don’t consider me to be in the “looking down at you ” category…by the way great blog.

Great post! I know exactly what you mean. We 5footers get talked down to all the time Add to that the non-working homemaker tag and it’s like all arguments end with “after all what do you know?”

I know what you mean…Apparently, I don’t look my age and so people don’t give me the time of day…Even my cousins who are 15 years younger don’t consider me as an ‘elder’…My mama still asks me to leave the tea table when he and the other adults chat…For god sake, I am 37 with a 5 year old daughter! When will I be considered an adult?

Me: People who don’t look their age have it all cut out for themselves. I should know!! Sigh. Have faced it all my life.
