…and then came Goofy!

……..continued from the first part: Danny and others…..

The little Martians with big plans disproportionate to their own size wanted German Shepherds and/or Labradors. Awww… I mean who wouldn’t want them?? But I paused to take a look into the future and saw myself walking an energetic dog, all out of breath and panting (Me not [...]

Danny and others…

Losing him left an unbearable ache in my sixteen year old heart. I vowed never to have another one again. He had been a perfect bundle of joy, all white and fluffy and cuddly and had been with us for only a month. Yet when I lost him just like that one evening, my heart [...]

Frozen tears

Frozen tears cold as ice
clogging up ducts
too hard to flow
in warm rivulets
down alabaster cheeks
lightening grief
carefully padlocked
in iron chests

Frozen tears cold as ice
trapped powerless
struggling to flee
in tiny gasps
of shallow breath
through tinier gaps
cracks and fissures
in a door tightly shut
to ease a heart
bowed down with weight.
