Prompt words: cling, murmur, taken.
It had hardly taken any effort to get him to school. But now he clung, not letting me go. My murmured words of encouragement failed to cheer. His enthusiasm to start school seemed to have met an untimely demise. Apparently, only just then had he realised that his older brother sat in a different classroom.

Makes me think that a character in naruto would do so
Who would that be?
Character: sasuke.. Naruto is a manga and animated series
Okay.
Yup I knew about the manga and animated series.
Actually I would feel happy if my elder brother was Not in the same class as mine
At 3 years of age you might have thought differently
Who knows.
I was brought up in a Joint family. I have a cousin bro who is 6 months younger to me. So coming to the cut off date of 3years to join the school, I was one year elder to him. I was taken directly to UKG on joining the school, and he to LKG. I cried and cried and was taken to LKG… Your post reminded me of this incident..
Lol. I can imagine. I cried a lot when I started school too. I have written about it here: http://shailsnest.com/2008/02/26/my-first-school/
oh.. i know i had this feeling when i went to school.. i thought my mother will also sit with me.. felt bad when she just left me and went.. i can completely co-relate to this.. few lines, but well expressed..
Thank you
My first born was okay with school. I don’t remember him ever crying. But the second born created a lot of trouble going to school the first time.
Lovely. Can picture this
