Of the many things discussed about mother-daughter relationships, I find there is one that is almost taboo.  Women don’t like to hear or talk about it.

The Betrayal

The issue I am trying to broach here is that of a certain betrayal of daughters by their mothers, in the cultural or societal value system that women subscribe to, and the choices they make, for themselves and their daughters.
