In a world
beset
with inequalities
of the green,
those that don’t have it
must fight their way
through
tangled paths.
And sometimes
those resplendent
and already green,
and complacent about life,
learn a bit of a home truth.
They may not have achieved it ,
yet,
but there is a bouquet
at the end of
all that hard work
for those who really try
and learn to bloom
in the harsh Sun..
ooh little flowers blooming .. looks like summer is coming
lovely picture and poem mam
Summer is here for us, Biks. It starts soon after Shivratri.
Thank you.

What a brilliant take, Suranga
In the past I had a different face
more beautiful and full of grace
but I believe in what history says
that this is but a passing phase.
Yeah, as soon as the rains fall, it will be covered in green once again
Lovely picture and apt verse! Suranga’s angle also is superb and Govind’s too! Nice poetry session is going on here!
Thank you Sandhya. Yes, its nice to see everyone pitching in
Lovely!! Around here too leaves have disappeared from Gulmohar and Bougainvillea and all we see are colourful blooms.
It’s the season for colorful flowers
Not blooms on Gulmohar yet, only brilliant, vivacious Bougainvillea.
Chempakam (right?) is a weird looking tree – like the trees kids draw. But I love its simple, sweet-smelling flowers.
Hmm… some people call this arali too. It is a different looking tree, the leaves are huge and yeah flowers are fragrant!
Very well captured
Thank you
