Puppy love

- a 55-word story.

“You haven’t done your home-work again!” the paan-chewing teacher spat exasperated.

He smiled insolently, not condescending to answer.

Some girls giggled. His eyes searched for her among them.

“Get out!” shouted the teacher.

He walked out of the class to the previously chosen tree, settling on a branch.

Now he could see her even better.

  1. Love doesn’t always find a way to triumph, does it? One must be creative and willing to solve obstacles as your character was. Very cute story, Shail!
    :) :) :)

Me: Indeed Bob, love that isn’t creative and willing to solve obstacles is no love!! Thank you! :)

  2. Aww… so cute! What happens to this kind of love as we grow older? Ah! Got it! Arthritis makes it rather difficult to nip up trees :)

Me: Haha, that is good. Arthritis does come in the way in later years! :P
