I know your Vista takes half an hr or so to boot, so do the following:
Go to start>>type in the search: “msconfig” and click on the search result which will be only one. Select continue when prompted, then at the msconfig window, go to the “startup” tab and uncheck programs yu don’t want to be started when yu start windows. Click on “apply”. Restart computer if asked to.
